Sarah Bowyer, Translator

About me

Having worked as a solicitor for many years, I started out as a freelance translator in 2019 and have translated millions of source words since.

When you ask me to help with your translation, you can be assured that you are working with:

  • a qualified linguist and translator, with a First Class languages degree from the University of Cambridge and two postgraduate Diplomas in Translation (DipTransIoLET);

  • an alumna of the École Normale Supérieure (Paris) with experience living in France, Spain, Belgium and Switzerland;

  • an experienced lawyer with almost a decade spent working in large, international law firms; and

  • a subject specialist who only works in law and sports translation and who draws on her passion for (and extensive expertise in) these specific areas.

“Excellent service! Extremely professional with a very kind disposition. 100% recommend to others.”
